Jiji Thomson

Dr. Jiji Thomson is a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1980 batch, Kerala cadre. He has served in senior administrative positions including Chief Secretary of Kerala, the highest bureaucratic post in the state. He has also served as Director General of the Sports Authority of India and as an Independent Director of Cochin Shipyard Ltd., among other roles.

After his long administrative career, Dr. Jiji Thomson has also made a mark as an accomplished author. His books blend personal insights, reflections on public life, and thoughtful narratives.
