There is no denying that for about the past five thousand years, Ayurveda has been involved in the health care of mankind; which tradition has been continued as per ancient texts and methods, making relevant intervention where and when suitable to the modern times, by manufactures of Everest Ayurveda Medicines.

The vision of our founder, to propagate Ayurveda as a system of medicine gives sustainable relief and for that; to make availability of genuine ayurvedic medicines, Everest Pharma, was as established in 1981. A family partnership firm manufacturing twenty five of patent & proprietary medicines, sixty five varieties of Kashaya Sookshma Choornams (KSC)® and three hundred fifty generic medicines.

The result of continuous research by Everest has led to the introduction of revolutionary concepts such as medicines in microfined powder form (Sookshma Choornam) and granules (Tharikal), which is the culmination of efforts to bring down and eliminate the use of chemicals entirely in the manufacture of Ayurveda medicines.

Kashaya Sookshma Choornams (KSC)® are the innovation of Everest; which is a registered trade mark. It reduces the cost of prescriptions - very cost effective, easy to prepare and without preservatives (chemicals). We have also developed medicines in granular form to avoid the use of preservatives. We satisfy genuinely to our slogan - “Specially for you naturally”. Our sincere efforts help us to keep quality which recognized by Ayurveda physicians and we are familiar to Ayurveda fraternity all over Kerala and also outside Kerala as well as outside India. We are the first triple certified firm- ISO 14001-2015, ISO 9001-2015 and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practise) in ayurvedic medicine manufacturing sector.

Everest is perhaps the only manufacturer, or one of the very few manufactures, of Ayurveda medicines, that even now continue the use of bronze vessels – traditional Uruli (a thick bottomed, wide mouthed, bronze metal vessel), firewood and other such traditional methods. Similarly, Arishtas and Asavas are left to ripen or become potent in subterranean racks, where they are stored in wooden barrels, secured hygienically, for forty five to sixty days, by which time the medicines mature.

In the name of modernization and to make manufacture of Ayurveda medicines more profitable, it is noticed that, iron, aluminium and other such metallic vessels and plastic tanks are in use profusely and however shunned totally by Everest, which committedly follows traditional methods of manufacture, storage and distribution.
