History In 1976 a group of Orthodox Christian Youth Movement members of Kottayam Diocese thought ... about a center for technical education, which is very few at those times. His Grace Mathews Mar Ivanios took this idea wholeheartedly and established a private ITC in the compound of Nilackal Orthodox Church, Puthuppally. After a year the ITC reestablished at Pothenpuram hills with initiative of Mar Ivanios. Pampady Thirumeni Kuriakose Mar Gregorios, Metropolitan of Kottayam Diocese (1929-1965), is popularly known as Pampady Thirumeni. He was born to Chacko and Elachi of Pezhamattom family
