About KIMS Sunrise Hospital

Kasaragod Institute of Medical Science (formerly known as Kasaragod Nursing Home) was established in August, 1980 by a group of skilled doctors who ultimately focus on clinical excellence as well as quality medical care and service to society. It was inaugurated by the honorable minister, Dr A Subba Rao, the minister for major irrigation, Govt of Kerala. KIMS Sunrise Hospital has a humble beginning as a 20 bedded hospital with departments including general medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopedics and allergy clinic.

Today KIMS Sunrise Hospital has developed into a multidisciplinary hospital with 100 beds and a unique combination of the best in class technology put to use by the best team of medical expertise to ensure world-class health care to all patients.
