The Fish that is available in our farm is "Gift " farm fresh cultivated in fresh water. Gift-this genetically improved fish is highly rich in protein and less of carbohydrates which is why it is one of the favourites among foreigners. It is a fresh water fish with very high immune system. as per research gift is the second tast... iest fish in the world.The fish is very similar look wise and taste wise to " pearl spot fish" karimeen the heart throbe of the people in alleppey and our foreigners.
