Established in the 1930's by the late P. Balram Kurup, a greatly respected bio-tech pioneer and founder of Techno Industries, Calicut, fondly known as Techno Kurup (also inspiration for the name, Technogreen), the estate boasts of a sprawling tea and coffee terrain, occasionally dotted by pepper vines and interlaced with rubber trees.
