"Smt.Girija Chandran’s abiding interest in the classical dance forms inspired her to establish the REGATTA NATYA SANGEETHA KENDRA as early as year 1972. With over FORTY EIGHT years of history, REGATTA is the biggest training centre for CLASSICAL dance in Kerala. All the centres maintain a unique teaching process with focus on theory and practice, emphasis on music, Cultural History of India, Philosophical learning and Sanskrit, with Guru’s personal attention and adherence to discipline.
