The Hospital was established in 1975 with a view to offer world-class healthcare at affordable prices especially to the less-privileged irrespective of community, caste, religion or nationality. Today, after 40 years of service, the Hospital has proven that the highest quality and latest form of treatment and management are possible even in rural and peripheral areas.

Today, the 350-bedded Multi-disciplinary Super Specialty Hospital initiated by the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church is one of the leading hospitals in Central Travancore, situated in Parumala, Pathanamthitta (Dist), Kerala. With the recent inauguration of the International Cancer Care Centre, the Hospital is poised to deliver more sophisticated but affordable care treatment to the people of Kerala.

Our patron saint is St.Gregorios of Parumala, the first declared saint of Indian Christian Community. Parumala is a major pilgrim centre in India and the Saint’s Shrine is a spiritual solace to lakhs of people belonging to various communities.
