Christ Central School, Thiruvalla - a co-educational institution - is owned and managed by the Catholic Fathers of the religious Congregation of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI). M.G.M. English Medium School founded in 1973 in the memory of His Grace Mar Gregorius by Rev. Thomas Mar Theophilos, is now rechristened as Christ Central School & Junior College.

In 1986, the CMI Congregation acquired the school. Since then the CMIs have been managing it under the Kuriakose Elias Educational Trust. The immediate management of the school is with the Mar Baselios CMI Ashram, Muthoor, Thiruvalla. Rev. Fr Chacko Puthukulam CMI, the Superior of the Ashram, is the Manager of the school. Rev. Fr Thomas Chempilparampil CMI is the Principal and Rev. Fr Rogin Thundiparampil CMI serves as the Bursar. The school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, provides education from pre-primary to Senior Secondary level.
