The College of Engineering was started in the year of 2000-2001 by the Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD) which is a prime educational organization which is supported by the Kerala Government. The IHRD manages more than 40 institutions all over the state including Engineering Colleges, Polytechnics, College of Applied Science... s, Regional Centers and Technical Higher Secondary Schools.
