Imbued with the Biblical teaching, inspired by the vision of the Founder, Don Giovanni Baptista and motivated by the committed life of the heavenly Patron St. Aloysius, the Indian Province of the Congregation of the Oblate Sisters of St. Aloysius Gonzaga proposes to launch a home for Senior Citizens, St. Aloysius Home, an endeavor, “first of its kind” and entirely new to the Indian milieu in an idyllic surrounding at Nambiakulam, Vedagiri Road, Kottayam Dt. Kerala.
It is an initiative taken by the Congregation with a view to helping the senior citizens to enjoy the evening of their life in the company of their peer group and to spend their time gracefully in a quiet and eco-friendly environment away from the hustle and bustle of urban conglomerations. Consequently, the Congregation set up St. Aloysius Gonzaga Charitable Trust and got it registered under No. 82/ IV/ 2017 with a view to providing service to humanity.
