Sri Vidyadhiraja Model College of Teacher Education. The first batch has passed out with 66 first classes. The college owns permanent buildings for different subject classrooms, library, laboratories, seminar halls etc., in tune with the stipulations of the NCTE. The college is connected with frequent bus service to Kottarakkara, Sasthamc... otta, Adoor and Kollam. The institution is part of an educational complex that includes the sister institutions : Pre-Primary, Primary, Lower Secondary, Secondary, VHSS, HSS, and TTI. The college organizes training activities in Model Schools and arranges student counselling and has a career guidance centre. Seminars related to teacher education are regularly conducted. The College hopes to start M.Ed course soon, as the State Government has already granted NOC for it.
