About T.K.M. College of Arts & Science ( Kollam, Aided)

The college was included in the UGC scheme from 1986. It celebrated its Silver Jubilee in 1990. The institution proudly calls itself a ‘beacon of hope for the deserving yet economically challenged’ as it has always had a policy of encouraging the economically and socially backward students. Besides the university level courses, this college also offers Certificate courses in Library and Information Science , Junior Certificate in Information Technology, Web-Page Design , Functional English , Computerized Accounting , Travel and Tourism Management, English Medium Primary Teacher Training and PG. Certificate courses in Counseling , Taxation etc., under the Continuing Education scheme.
