About Victory Plywood Distributors

VICTORY GROUP is one of the reputed and established names in the plywood industry. Established
in 1974 in Kannur, we started with a sawn timber and plywood business on a modest scale. Due to
the progressive outlook and relentless efforts of our founder, Shri.M.K Mammootty Haji and his
successors, the group made steady progress over the years and business expanded to its present
stature.
The group has an annual turnover of around 300 million rupees and has a strong distribution
network of around 250 dealers in Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
Power is the brand majorly marketed by the group. We also manage sub brands like Tera, Magic,
Rainbow and Supreme to maintain our presence in different product segments.
The group runs 4 different entities namely:
1. Victory Plywoods: This is where the group started the journey. Started in 1974, it is the
oldest plywood retail outlet in Kannur today. The outlet is set to be renovated as the “Power”
Brand showroom.

2. Victory Plywood Distributors: With the retail outlet being a successful venture, we took a
leap forward and took up distribution of plywood across Kerala. Established in 1980, VPD
started sourcing and distributing plywood under their own brand. The group also started
exporting plywood to the Middle Eastern countries. With the growing demand the group
ventured into manufacturing of plywood. Today this firm is responsible for distributing
plywood and its alternatives like MDF and PVC across Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

3. MKW wood industries: We started a plywood manufacturing unit, MKM Wood Industries, in
1997 at Andoor in Kannur District. The products range from Commercial and Marine
Plywood, Block Boards & Flush Doors, Film Faced Shuttering Plywood, Laminated Plywood,
Flexi Ply, Decorative Veneer Plywood etc.
4. Victory Impex Co.: Victory Impex Co. is our latest venture and is established in 2007. This
firm deals in import of products which is used as an alternative to wood and plywood, like
MDF, HDF, PVC celluka foam board, veneers etc. This has become the most important step
of the group, as the scarcity of raw materials is forcing the burden of a higher price and lower
quality of wood & plywood on the customers to look for alternatives. The imported products
are distributed through our distribution network and this has become the biggest firm of the
group revenue wise. The office and warehouse is currently located in Thrikkakara, Cochin.
