Pothan and Company

Pothan and Company can trace its roots back to 1932 when Pothan Pythal, inspired by the same entrepreneurial spirit which has defined so many great leaders of commerce, established a small weaving cottage named Arshabharat Textiles in Cannanore. At the time his company employed only five weavers, but it would eventually grow into the thriving commercial enterprise that it is today, utilizing a workforce of thousands and expanding beyond the world of textiles to include such diverse sectors as Automobiles, Seafood Exports, Coir Product Exports, Import and Export of Fruits and Other Agro Products, Consumer goods imports and General trading.
