About Vanya Tree House

Established in the year 1973 under the leadership of Mr. Tom Thomas our current chairman, the Kondody group has witnessed immense growth and expansion since its initials beginnings as a private bus operator in the high ranges of Central Kerala. The group has since diversified into several areas like bus bodybuilding, and later into the hospitality industry. Greeenwoods is one such initiative of the Kondody group headed by our managing director, Mr. Rahul Tom who leads every initiative at Greenwoods with his passion for the environment and nature. The resort promotes and believes in the idea that every person and nature is an embodiment of God and that there needs to be a perfect unison in this relationship. That is why Greenwoods believes in preserving the environment as a mark of respect to Mother Nature and as a gift to the future generations.

Vanya is an experience very different from the run of the mill tree houses that one comes across. It is more than just a tree house it is a way of living. It is a lesson on the ways and means by which Mother Nature keeps us nourished and self-sufficient. We have tried to replicate the indigenous ways of living and habitation through Vanya. It is through such an experience that we believe that true nature lovers like you will find a deeper connect and a sense of belonging to this earth that we live in.
