Evergreen Imports was established in September 2011 at Cochin with an aim to promote the finest quality olive oil. We import products through Cochin port to ensure faster reach to customers from the date of packing.
Our olive oil is imported directly from Spain, the world’s largest producer of olive oil, and ensures European Union (EU) and International Olive Council certification.
In order for an oil to qualify as “extra virgin”, the oil must pass both an official chemical test in a laboratory and a sensory evaluation by a trained tasting panel recognized by the Olive Oil Council. The superior fruity taste of fresh olives is rendered from the first pressing of olives, which gives it the extra virgin status.
In addition to being the only oil that can even be consumed raw, it has the added benefit of being the key ingredient in the cosmetic industry.
