EARLY YEARS
Hailing from Manalaya, a small village near Perinthalmanna, in Malappuram district, Shamsudheen started his career at the age of 18 by helping his father, Thahirkutty. Later on he stepped into real estate business. Slowly and steadily, he diversified his business interests in mining, jewellery business, construction, manufacturing, agriculture and plantations. “We stand for quality and on time delivery keeping in mind a client’s dream and experience. Our mission is to design and construct buildings within India and abroad with no compromise on quality. We stand to be an experience for anyone who comes in touch with us, as a client or a vendor and that will allow customers to have amazing experiences in life through the construction and ambience we create,” says Shamsudheen.
Over time, he proved his mettle by achieving success consistently with dedication and involvement. He envisaged his vision by maintaining a team of well-qualified staff in his business who realized his aspirations and worked hard towards it. “MPS Builders are the best Builders in Kochi, Thrissur, we respect the sacred nature of homes. We realize the influence homes have on those who come to stay there and so we design, plan and build homes with great attention to detail, analysis, creativity and heartfelt good wishes. However, Shamsudheen is unfazed by competition and ensures his firm stands tall in the industry as a trusted entity. “Our market is already established for each industry, so we don’t even have to worry about competitors. Many business owners fear that a strong competitor will put them out of business, or at least take some of their customers. As long as your market is large enough, however, there are usually plenty of customers to go around. Healthy competition is by no means reason for panic, and in fact, it’s a good thing. We always think about large scale competing companies,” he says.
As a man of few words, who has always maintained a low profile, Shamsudheen is simple and modest and believes in letting his work speak for him. Asked if he has been a role model in life, his answer was no. “I am a very positive person and draw inspiration from the people around me. Surrounding ourselves with more successful people can motivate us to work harder. My role models come from everyday life,” says Shamsudheen.
Employees have never been treated as mere staff, but more like his extended family, which no doubt paved the way for his success. Crucial decisions are always a part of running any business and Shamsudheen is ably supported by a core management team headed by his eldest son, Mohammed Thahirudheen Mangadan Parambath, director to handle the technical aspects, day-to-day activities and challenges.
