The GST System is going to have a G2B portal for taxpayers to access the GST Systems. The third party applications will connect with GST system via secure GST System APIs. All such applications are expected to be developed by third party service providers who have been given a generic name, GST Suvidha Provider or GSP. The GSPs are envisaged to provide innovative and convenient methods to taxpayers and other stakeholders in interacting with the GST Systems from registration of entity to uploading of invoice details to filing of returns. Thus there will be two sets of interactions, one between the App user and the GSP and the second between the GSP and the GST System.
To enhance an efficient work-model, GSP extends their service through GGI-GST Suvidha Kendra across the states of Kerala , Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Goa. GGI is setting up around 5000 outlets/franchisees known as GGI-GST Suvidha Kendras in these states. Since GGI is an NGO and always work with the motive to service the society, we aim to provide more than 15000 opportunities of employment while providing easily feasible method for GST taxation and related services through this endeavour.
GGI-GST Suvidha Kendras are the GST Facilitation Centre appointed and Approved by the GSP,Botree International Pvt Ltd. The Suvidha Kendras will cater to Businesses either large or small and take care of all GST Compliance needs in a cost effective manner. All levels of Business people and Taxpayers can take advantage of these centres and comply with GST very easily and efficiently.
In GST system all Tax payers have to provide details of all invoices along with all line items in a particular format for various returns. This mandate will require some sort of automation at all Tax payers end. Of course already automated systems have to be tweaked to comply with this mandate. So it is a big opportunity for Suvidha Kendra Franchisees. In GST regime buyer’s various returns will be auto populated based on Seller filling. This will bring in additional complexity to match seller uploaded invoice and accept/reject/modify these invoices. GST system will not allow duplicate invoice upload.
Most of the tax payers have to now file three returns in a month (amendments are not included). So automation will be the need of the hour for tax payers. There will be events like auto reversals etc. so Tax payers have to keep a tab on different scenarios, which will be difficult without automation. Synchronization between Tax payer system and GST system will be a challenge. Automation using APIs will be required to do that.
The GST tax payers will need help of a GSP/Suvidha Kendra, who can provide them a facility to upload their data (in form of CSV or a Text file) and that GSP will prepare their return, provide facility for digital signing and file return with GST. The taxpayer can also use GSP provided offline tool to convert CSV format data (invoice or GSTR-1 etc.) to GST compliant format, and log on GST portal to file the same. He will download GSTR-2 and convert that into csv format to be read by his Tax Accounting S/W to do comparison etc.
How It Works:
1. Each of our Franchisees will register with our GSP(Botree), who is providing a portal similar to GST portal but with enriched functionalities
2. The Franchisee will get a user id and password for GSP portal.
3. To use GST API, Each of our Franchisees has to authenticate with GST system.
4. The Franchisee will export their Tax payer’s sales register entries (having invoice level details) in csv or excel format from existing application.
5. The Franchisee will login in to the GSP portal and upload csv file.
6. GSP application will process this csv and generate a file, which is required by GST System.
7. The Franchisee can do this activity one or more time in a month and finally, when Tax payer is planning to file return. Franchisee will go to the GSP portal and ask it to fetch summary from GST system.
The major advantage of our software is the ability for a quick and easy uploading and processing of bulk data into the GST portal thus helping to save the time and cost of our Tax payers
