The facilities for higher education in most of the colleges in north Malabar are very inadequate. A group of socially committed enthusiasts of our area has been contemplating for many years to establish an institute for specialized courses. MALABAR HIGHER EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY is the fruition of this long cherished idea. The college is affiliated to University of Calicut.
