eGlu began as a personal journey—Amit’s quest to bring seamless home automation and elevated, tech-driven living into his own home. Frustrated by systems that felt outdated, overly complex, or poorly suited to Indian homes, he saw the need for something radically different. Even imported high-end European setups fell short of his vision.
In a modest garage outside his Bangalore home, Amit and a former colleague started building eGlu from the ground up. They weren’t just crafting technology; they were reimagining the modern Indian lifestyle—creating a system that feels intuitive and fits beautifully into India’s unique spaces.
