ABOUT THE ACADEMY

Maestro Academy of Music was established in 2005 with the mission of imparting Western Classical Music to aspiring students with International standards. For achieving this, we are guiding students for preparing International Examinations conducted by world renowned institutes viz. Associate Board of Royal Schools of Music, Trinity College London and London College of Music. Besides, we are imparting orchestral training too.

The Academy was started and is being run by K. Krishna Kumar, who has a vast teaching as well as orchestral experience of more than 30 years in various prestigious institutes such as Nadhabrahama, Suvartha School of Music and Kalagramam.Apart from this he is the conductor of the India Youth Chamber Orchestra and the HOD of strings section at Symphony MLC Dubai.

He has been the lead Violinist of the Nadabrahma orchestra and had many occasions to work with almost all eminent personalities in the film and music industry.

The envious speciality of the Academy is it's dedicated faculty.

Many of our students are now holding good positions as musicians in Indian Navy and Indian Air Force and some of them have won state level medals in School and University Youth Festivals. Many of the former students are now engaged in various music institutes in the state as Tutors.
