About CENTRAL WAREHOUSING CORPORATION

Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), is a Central Govt. PSU, under the Ministry of
Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution. It is the only CPSE which provides disinfection
and general pest control services (PCS) i.e. disinfection against germs and microbes (virus, bacteria
& fungi) and disinfestation against termites, rodents, mosquitoes, birds, unwanted vegetation etc.
PCS is an offshoot of our main function, which is Scientific Public Warehousing & Logistics
Services.
Our reputed clients / establishments are Ministries, PSUs, State/Central Govt. Offices,
Railway stations and coaches, National Museums, Science Centers, Aircrafts, Airlines, Airports of
AAI, AIIMS, Hospitals, Banks, Universities, IRCTC, RAILTEL, MSTC, GAIL, RBI, UTI, PNB,
Bank of Baroda, various Workshops, Ships, Containers, Hangars etc.
In the light of the continued COVID-19 Pandemic, the importance of disinfection against
communicable disease and vector control is even more paramount. Pests, germs & microbes carry
diseases and are injurious to health. Prevention is better than cure. Right chemical disinfectants
clean most of the microorganisms, prevent spread of communicable diseases & infections and
maintain sterile environment around us.
Disinfection services should be taken from a trained operator only. As per the Insecticide
Act-1968, accreditation, PCS license is must for disinfestation work. The recommended frequency
of disinfection is daily as per the Prevention of Communicable Disease & Control guidelines as
well as the GOI, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. Our services are also registered under GeM
portal and we would be glad to serve you at reasonable rates.
