Alfa Opticals, the traditional opticians of for the past 85 years offering its seamless range of international and national brands and the state of art eye clinic In 1930 Mr P.K Korah started the Royal Star Optical Company. He was well trained from Bombay in optical dispensing and making and fitting of spectacles and prescription lenses. The optical lineage is passed on to his son Mr P.K.Thomas who was trained from Delhi after graduation. The third generation Jobo Korah Thomas - (M.Opt. , DR.Opt, B.Opt, Hons,F.R.H.S.) trained from ophthalmic Research and Education centres, L.V.Prasad Eye Institute Hyderabad, Varilux University, Paris, France. Seema Varkey B.Sc.,Opt. Graduated from Aravind Eye Hospital Madurai are leading the company now. They obtained higher levels of education and training from India and abroad. Their global experience helps to tackle many problems unknown to domestic opticians.
