About A to Z Home Nursing Service and House Maid Service

Service Description

Besides free food and accommodation, the monthly remuneration of a home nurse in Kerala is Rs. 16000/- and outside Kerala is Rs. 19000/- to 20000/-. Professional Nurses salary Rs.22000/-. They watches patients 24hrs a day. Salary will be changed based on the condition of the patient.

The salary of the home nurse for one month is to be deposited at the office in advance at the time of allotment and the balance amount for the next 2 months should be sent accordingly every month in advance to the office by Demand Draft or money transfer through SBI bank.

For every 3 months, a re-registration fee of Rs. 3500/- (if the service is being rendered in Kerala) is to be deposited at the Society's office. Outside Kerala the duration of the service can be extended up to 6 months with a re-registration fee of Rs.6000/- after every three months. The salary of home nurse for every 3 months is to be deposited at the office.

A to Z Home Health Care reserves the right to discontinue the services of a home nurse of there is any delay in payment of salary in advance.

Services Rendered by a Home nurse

Following are the services normally rendered by a home nurse:

a) Give medicine to the patient at proper times as prescribed by the doctor.

b) Remove urine & stool.

c) Give Tracheostomy, Suctions and accidental care

d ) Helping the patient to brush the teeth clean and sponge the body to avoid bed store.

e) Cleaning the room, toilets and keep the bed and furniture in order in the patients room.

f) Prevent bed - sore as far as possible. If there is any wound or bedsore, dress them properly.

g ) Read religious books, newspaper, etc., as per the interest and taste of the patient.

h) Try to eliminate loneliness and depression of the patients by nursing them with love, care and affection.
i )Check patients temperature, pulse and blood pressure frequently. Also give food to the patients who may require tube feeding

All necessary help and assistance should be made available by the House Incharge to the home nurse enabling her to serve better.

If one home nurse alone is unable to support a patient due to peculiar nature and heaviness of the patient, to lift up or to turn or to walk, etc., it is recommended that all necessary help and assistance be made available to the home nurse by a lady member in the house.
