The advantage of onsite consultation is that the consultant personally visits the site and is able to record not just the directions accurately but also to observe the features and landscape as well as get a feel of the place. As Fengshui is mainly about energy flows which is difficult to measure quantitatively, an onsite visit can help a consultant to assess the chi (energy) flows accurately. I am a specialist in Flying Star Fengshui which involves drawing the flyingstar chart (horoscope of the premises) .The flyingstar chart is vital in helping the practitioner in devising strategies in enhancing and activating the positive chi flows and finding a remedy to suppress the afflictions. This needs very accurate compass measurements . An onsite consultation is always recommended wherever possible.
