The Mangalam College of Education at Ettumanoor, Kottayam in Kerala was established by Mangalam foundation, a trust constituted for the social service in June 1995 to run B.Ed course and in December 2006 to run M.Ed. course on self financing basis. The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and Recognized by National Council of Teacher Education(NCTE). It is the first
college in the Self-financing sector accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council(NAAC) in India.
