Karappara Chit Funds Pvt. Ltd. is a 4th generation family establishment which has its roots in the finance business dating back to the year 1920 with over a century of experience in Chit Funds. Started in the small town of Vakathanam in Kottayam, within a trusted household name of Karappara Vettiyil, the firm has made Chit Funds a viable form of saving and borrowing to all sections of the society.
Registered under the Indian Partnership Act in 1950 and further expanding the firm to Kottayam town in 1986, Karappara Chit Funds Pvt. Ltd. as it is known today was incorporated under the Companies Act in 2013. The business has grown over the years catering to over thousands of clients and registering in excess of 5,000+ chits over the past several decades.
