After completion of fellowship from Royal College of physicians & surgeons ,Glasgow, UK, in 2004,Dr Binu nambiar worked as consultant eye surgeon in abroad and India and completed more than 25,000 eye surgeries for various eye disease including cataract, glaucoma, refractive problems & squint.Since 2008 returning back to India worked as chief of cataract and glaucoma services in Vasan eye care Kannur

He is the pioneer surgeon in accommodative IOL surgery for cataract and Sulcoflex IOL for residual refractive error after cataract surgery in Kerala . He is the first surgeon who introduced Ex-press glaucoma shunt device developed by Alcon surgical USA to Kerala surgeons which is considered as latest and safe surgical procedure for glaucoma.He is one of the certified surgeons of Switzerland based ICL refractive surgery and USA based multi focal surgery in Kerala.
