The College of Engineering, Munnar was crystallized in form and substance in the year 2000 by The Center for Continuing Education, Kerala, a Government of Kerala undertaking. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is a recognized Institute of the Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi, which offers four years B-Tech programmes.
