Ever since its inception in 1979, SKILTEK GROUP has been growing from strength to strength, starting new courses, keeping abreast with the times. With the dedicated service and hard work of the managerial, supervisory, instructional and ministerial staff and the sincere co-operation of thousands of students and their parents, SKILTEK has emerged to be one of the biggest institutions of its kind in India.

Now, this institution conducts three levels of courses, in different branches of engineering viz. Degree, Diploma and Certificate / Technician. Skiltek is designated as the authorized Study Centre for conducting Open – Distance – Learning (ODL) courses of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) for Diploma, Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Engineering, IT and Management. ODL courses are approved by Distance Education Council (DEC), University Grants Commission (UGC) and Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. Skiltek is also affiliated to the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), Government of India and recognized by Department of Technical Education, Government of Kerala for conducting their certificate courses, since 1979.
