Thampan's Handicrafts is a family run businesss started by our Forefather's in 1860s.Later Mr Thampan took over the business in new generation keeping its true essence . A new production unit,a mini industrial estate was started in Mannar in 1978.Renowned for its craftsmanship and outstanding feats, the smiths here are the most sought after group, when it comes to exquisite creations in brass, bronze and silver. Be it art pieces or those with utility, metal products from Thampan over the years have crossed the seas and reached different parts of the world. All the things here are purely handmade with efficient skilled labourers.
