KVM hospital was dedicated to the nation on 17 Oct 1972 and has been providing a life saving service with loving care to the people of Kerala over the last 46 years. It was founded by Dr VV Haridas and is in memory of his father Sri Velayudhan, who was a philanthropist deeply caring about the health and welfare of the people of Cherthala and Alappuzha.
