The Dr. Oommen's Eye Hospital & Microsurgery Center began as a modest endeavour with only one doctor and two staff nurses. This hospital's mission was to improve access to high-quality eye care in and around Chengannur.

We have gradually grown over the past year, and as of right now, we have twelve staff members, including refractionists, along with three full-time doctors and two part-time doctors. We have a pharmacy, lab, inpatient ward, operating room, and postoperative ward all of which are on-site.
