About Bishop Benziger College of Nursing ( Kollam, Self Financing)

Principal:The College was started in 2004 with the basic aim of providing nursing education and to uplift those belonging to the Latin Catholic community of Quilon diocese. The Bishop Benziger Community Health Centre, in collaboration with the Fishermen Community Development Programme, provides services like special treatment for the pregnant, and care for the aged women. Medical camps and health awareness programmes are also held as part of the extension activities. The college also has a Career Guidance and Counselling Centre, where a part time Clinical psychologist offers service. The college also conducts workshops on Legal Awareness for Nurses, Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) etc., The college provides conveyance facilities to the students and staff.
